Introduce yourself! Who are you?
Hi! My Name’s Sam, I’m a 29 year old Yoga Teacher from Brisbane, Australia. 
I love being barefoot out in nature, exploring, and reading good books.
I have been living a Vegan lifestyle for roughly 5 years now, and I’ve never felt better!
I started practicing Yoga late 2015, prior to starting Yoga I was a big time over thinker, and I struggled with stress and anxiety. I quickly became addicted to practising Yoga and in 2016 I completed my Yoga Teacher Training. 
Through practising Yoga and adopting it’s principles, I have learned so much about myself.
Had you asked me a few years ago to introduce myself and tell you who I am, I wouldn’t have been able to…I wouldn’t have known how to answer it myself.
Growing up I was riddled with self-doubt and fear; my mindset was negatively programmed and I lacked self-confidence, I have been able to shift this negative thinking into positive thinking and have totally transformed my life. I now have a strong passion for helping others shift their thinking to help them create a positive life.

Who would you say is your #1 inspiration? 
I get inspired by so many amazing and strong people that work hard for what they want, and I also get inspired by my own personal growth.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
I have received a lot of great advice over time. But one that stands out most is to do what you truly want to do, let go of society’s ideas of how your life should unfold and follow a path that feels good for you.

What would you say to 16 year old you?
16 Year old me was depressed and anxious, had low self-esteem, body image issues, and just didn’t like herself much at all. So I would give her a big hug, tell her everything will be ok, there are great things waiting for her, that she is beautiful and full of unlimited potential, she is fully taken care of and she has the power to create a life that she loves. And also not to give a crap what others think of her, to be unapologetically herself.

What’s your dream job?
I wouldn’t call it a job but I would love to travel the world teaching yoga. I would also love to open up an animal rescue home at some point.

Have you ever had anyone doubt you? How did that make you feel?
I can’t think of any particular time that someone else doubted me but I know for most of my life I doubted myself and it was not a good feeling. I was full of fear and doubt but as I have grown I realize that those thoughts were the only thing holding me back. I’m so grateful I don’t feel that way anymore. I still have my moments but I’m able to pull myself out of these moments and keep moving forward. 

What message do you think every woman should hear?
I have two…
Realize the power of your thoughts, they literally create your reality, if you can shift your thinking into thoughts of positivity you will see your entire world change.
You’re never too old to follow your passions, a lot of people think that once they hit a certain age that it’s too late to go after their dreams, but it’s never too late!

What is your favorite thing about where you live? 
I love that I’m close to so many amazing locations, to the beach, to beautiful waterfalls, to the city and I also love the warm weather.

What do you love most about yourself?
My willingness to grow.

What motivates you most?
Seeing others grow, transform, and achieve their goals. 

What do you consider to be your greatest achievement? 
Overcoming my self-doubt and fear and becoming a Yoga teacher. Just a few years ago I could barely do any yoga poses, I knew very little about Yoga and the thought of standing in front of a group of people would have made me have a panic attack.

If you weren’t blogging, what would you be doing?
Yoga, exploring, and eating…my three favourite things ; P.

What is something on your bucket list?
I have a lot on my list, but a few of them are to travel the world, own a tiny home near the beach, and live a minimalist lifestyle.

What are your biggest passions?
Yoga, wellness, travel, reading books, Vegan food, Animals, and helping people believe in themselves and achieve self-love.
