Introduce yourself! Who are you?
Hi, my name is Sania Khiljee, and I'm a serial entrepreneur and social media expert from Houston, TX. I own and operate preschool franchises, recently sold an ecommerce business called Bumble Brain Box, and am working on a brand new business to launch in 2018. I also am the owner of @LosersToLegends, which is an account with about 1.5 million followers on Facebook where we discuss business & self development.
Who would you say is your #1 inspiration?
Gary Vaynerchuck and Tony Robbins are my number 1 inspiration. I'm influenced heavily by the success they've achieved, the impact they've created, and the authenticity with which they speak.
What is one thing no one really knows about you?
I'm an open-book. People generally know EVERYTHING about me, because I believe in transparency and realness.... What they might not know, however, is that I'm terrible at math. Absolutely terrible. Oh, and my cooking sucks too...
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
"Slow and steady wins the race..." I tend to go so hard and fast. I push myself beyond limits at times, and I've realized balance and longevity are essential.
What would you say to 16 year old you?
Stop being so emotional. Life will turn out better than you can ever imagine. Focus on yourself (not boys), and spend this time in your life truly figuring out who you are.
What’s your dream job?
My dream job is the one I have---being an entrepreneur and a blogger. I'd also like to be a world-renowned speaker and author one day, so I'm building up to it 🙂
Have you ever had anyone doubt you? How did that make you feel?
I don't make time to listen to anyone who doubts me. Their noise is irrelevant.
What message do you think every woman should hear?
Love yourself before you love someone else.
What is your favorite thing about where you live?
The best part about Houston? My family is here, and there is SO MUCH TO EAT! Also, I love the diversity here. We have a truly international population.
What do you love most about yourself?
I love how driven I am to not die average. I appreciate how much I strive for greatness, and the discipline and consistency I've cultivated has truly allowed me to achieve things that I never thought possible. I'm excited to see what the future holds as long as I keep hustling the way I do now.
Do you remember a specific time you overcame adversity?
When I started my second business, it was not the "franchise model" that I'd become accustomed to. It was a completely new industry and language, and I had to build everything from scratch. By the age of 26, I was balancing running 3 established businesses and a 4th startup while being a newly-wed. It was a tough time, but I worked extremely hard. Eventually, I scaled the business to over 6 figures in its first year. We received an offer to sell the business right after, which was exciting.
What motivates you most?
The desire to be great---wanting to create a world-renowned legacy drives me more than anything.
What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
In first grade, I told my teachers I would be a published author one day. It was my greatest dream. By 26, it happened.
What do you do on a daily basis to grow and move forward?
I build my following on social media EVERY SINGLE DAY, and the connections/networking that comes from it is essential to my daily growth.
What is one thing people would be surprised to hear about you?
I eat non-stop. I'm only 5 foot 1 and under 100 pounds, but I'm like Pacman when it comes to being a foodie.
If you weren’t blogging, what would you be doing?
Writing & speaking.
What is something on your bucket list?
Backpacking Southeast Asia
What are your biggest passions?
Entrepreneurship, writing, social media, speaking, religion, and family
