Introduce yourself! Who are you?
I’m Evelor Savior. I currently live in Miami and Arizona. In a nutshell, I’m an orphan from Haiti who overcame suicidal depression and homelessness. Now I’m using my life’s story, my music, and spiritual gifts to uplift others and help the world evolve, one less suicide at a time. I have been interviewed on various mainstream Radio shows across the U.S and I was a featured speaker for 3 years in a row at the Youth Development Program in Miami, FL organized by Dr. Charlene Desir, Ph. D of Harvard University. I am also a Certified Reiki Master, Certified Past-Life Healer by Dr. Doreen Virtue, Ph. D., a sassy TV Personality on Bric Television, musician on iTunes, Spotify, and Pandora, and the author of “Deliciously Happy: The Easiest 4-week Plan to Help You Build Your Happiness Mindset” available on Amazon.
Who would you say is your #1 inspiration?
Rihanna, of course. She’s my badass caribbean sister as far as I’m concerned, lol. It’s amazing to witness her journey into success and global influence at such a young age and for her to remain so humble and approachable.
What is one thing no one really knows about you?
Everyone who knows me now sees me as an Angelic being, like a sweet person, which I am. However I used to be part of a really bad gang in Haiti when I was in my mid teens. Goes to show you anyone can really transform their lives if they want to.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
To trust my own process and not judge my life by how well someone is doing. Basically, to always be grateful that the grass is always green on my side because an attitude of gratitude opens the abundance gates of heaven.
What would you say to 16 year old you?
I would say: “Girl! You better put the coke down and not put it in your mouth. This is not who you came to this planet to be.” I think I actually said something similar because I never got addicted to drugs, thank Goodness, and I was able to get out of that lifestyle.
What’s your dream job?
My dream job is what I’m doing now about 90% of the time: working on music or meditation workshop ideas, and connecting with like-minded friends on social media, and getting paid to do what I love. I still have some minor corporate commitments but eventually in the next year, I want to be much more involved in that the 100% of the time.
Have you ever had anyone doubt you? How did that make you feel?
I think so. Probably when I was growing up in Haiti, since I was quite a rebel. Now I’ve learned to stay focused on my own path and not be concerned with that. I’m all about giving my attention to what is pleasurable because that’s what I want more of everyday. I gotta have it good baby; reaaaally good.
What message do you think every woman should hear?
To embrace ALL aspects of you, especially your sensuality and sexuality. I’ve found that some women who have dealt with either sexual abuse or some form of harrassment tend to shut down a bit. And as women we need the high frequency energy, vitality, and vibrancy that are fueled by our sensuality so we can move powerfully in our lives with our self-confidence bigger than this galaxy.
What is your favorite thing about where you live?
The scenery. The oversized spa. The infinity pool. The fully-loaded gym. and my view of Camelback Mountain when I sit by my fireplace to watch the sunset. I’m very grateful for the life I live and that’s why my heart is obssessed with helping others re-design their lives with joy in mind.
What do you love most about yourself?
I admire my ability to not hold grudges against people and to hold on to the vision of their true divine nature behind the facades. At the end of the day, we are all one in the heart of the Universe. Yes there are things we don’t understand and probably never will but we trust that it all works itself out eventually for the highest good.
What motivates you most?
Seeing other people win because it is evidence that it’s also possible for me.
What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?
Being happy and taking a few gratitude breaths throughout the day, everyday.
What do you do on a daily basis to grow and move forward?
M for Meditation, or specifically “Intuitive Meditation” as I call it. It’s a constant stream of being connected to one’s inner guidance system and being aware of that throughout the day, no matter what you’re doing or the environment you’re in.
What is something on your bucket list?
To make love with my future life partner in one of the Pyramids in Egypt. It will happen for sure. Oh yeah.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
First, break up with procrastination. The way I overcame procrastination is one day I was meditating and I allowed myself to feel how painful it was to keep putting my dreams on hold. It felt like my heart was a newborn child in deep agony begging to be heard, begging to be loved, begging to be fully expressed and cared for. I also realized I was afraid of success, so I would procrastinate as a way to avoid it. I used Reiki, affirmations, and meditating with prosperity crystals like Peridot, Larimar, Citrine…to help release these old blockages and supercharge my will-power more and more.
Second, proper time management. I know life is not meant to be perfectly balanced 100 percent of the time but I’d say we can at least get it to 90% or 98%. I need to have mine at 98% percent at least so I can feel productive and somewhat in control of how things are moving in my life. This is something I am actively working on because I do a lot. I am in the process of launching two new companies in the lifestyle blogging and digital marketing fields, working on new music for December, and manifesting an ecstatic romantic relationship; so yes, learning how to maximize every waking hour is like finding gold inside of a diamond.
What are your favorite business tools/resources and why?
It’s an App called Crowdfire that helps you to manage your social media platforms and grow your following faster without any overwhelm.
How do you achieve work-life balance?
Be patient with yourself, take nothing for granted, give your business time to flourish properly, and enjoy the process. And I will add: Always prioritize your self-care and soul-care routines for your own vitality. The busier your business schedule get, the more massages, naps, self-reflection time and/or rejuvenating baths you’ll need to have in your schedule for the week as well. With everything that I do and running 3 businesses, I still manage to get massages and chiropractic adjustments 2 to 3 times a week regularly.
If you could go back in time to the first day of your startup, what would you communicate to yourself?
Don’t take things personally.
Where do you plan on taking your business?
To the next person who needs my help in creating the joyful life and business he or she is praying for as fast as possible. My adrenaline rush is helping conscious entrepreneurs heal any emotional pain or energy leaks in their personal lives that could block their business from thriving and awaken their own intuitive abilities in the process so they can run their business powerfully, being featured in the media as a leading authority in their field and make a noticeable difference in the world while having more fun!
