Introduce yourself! Who are you?
I’m Elisa Camahort Page, former co-founder and COO of BlogHer, now an author, advisor, and public speaker.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
From Caterina Fake, founder of Flickr, and now Findery: When it comes to deals or partnerships prioritize People, then Terms, then Valuation. In other words, when you’re making a deal, you’re forging a relationship with your partners. You should trust them; they should trust you. And never sacrifice fair terms for a higher theoretical valuation. Just like prioritizing working with good people, when you prioritize working under fair terms, you’ll walk away, at the end of the day, feeling good about the time you spent and the deal you did.

What message do you think every woman should hear?
Make the leap. Take a risk. As tech icon Genevieve Bell’s mother used to tell her: “If it won’t cause death or dismemberment, you should probably try it!"

What do you love most about yourself?
My brain. And shout out to the curly hair I finally learned to love.

What motivates you most?
Wrongs to be righted.

What do you do on a daily basis to grow and move forward?
I’m an avid reader. Books, magazine articles, think pieces, anything that adds to my perspective on the topics I care about.
