What Message Do You Think Every Woman Should Hear?
With Leah McNally
Introduce yourself! Who are you?
Hi! I’m Leah 🙂 I’m a 25-year-old fiancé and Mama to a girl who will be 2 in November! We currently live in NJ but I’m from FL !
What is one thing no one really knows about you?
Something not many people know about me is that I can’t sleep with socks on, and my hair can’t be touching my neck; I’m weird.
What would you say to 16 year old you?
I would tell 16 year old me to stay in High-school and to get good grades. I decided I knew everything, and was ready to work in the “real world” at that age. I dropped out of public high-school to finish school online, so that I didn’t have to go to “school” anymore. I got my diploma online, but i wish i could go back and have a better school experience.
I was a little trouble maker back then – I’ve always been fiercely independent, to a fault.
What is your greatest fear?
I’m terrified of spiders but my greatest fear is not being around to take care of my daughter.
Have you ever had anyone doubt you? How did that make you feel?
I’ve had people doubt me my entire life!!!! On paper I shouldn’t have come as far in life as I have, but I’m a survivor. When people doubt me it makes me more motivated to succeed and prove them wrong – people hate that.
What message do you think every woman should hear?
Everyone woman should hear: “You are powerful. You are beautiful. You are smart. You are enough.”
What motivates you most?
My daughter motivates me every single day to be the best mom and version of myself that I can be! She is my inspiration in everything
What is something on your bucket list?
Something on my bucket list is to sky dive, visit Europe, and ride elephants in Bali
What do you do on a daily basis to grow and move forward?
On a daily basis I try to forgive myself, be gentle, have patience, do something nice for someone else, take time to workout, say NO to people and commitments if i want too, take ME time, and i always try to challenge myself someway. these are all things I do daily to help me grow and be the best me I can be
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
The best piece of advice I’ve ever gotten is this – (excuse the language but it’s important and words I live by): “Don’t ever forget the 3 F’s in life – if they’re not feeding you, financing you, or fucking you – who gives a fuck about their opinion”
What do you love most about yourself?
What do I love most about myself? This is a hard question – I’m working on loving every single bit and part of myself, the good and the ugly because it’s what makes me, me. If I had to pick something, I would say I love how great of a mother I am. My love for her is so strong and she’ll never doubt that.
