Introduce yourself! Who are you?
I'm a connector and an encourager. I'm a soul-filled woman. I'm evolving from stay at home mom to working mom. I'm also a mompreneur. I'm a wife, a daughter, a sister and a friend. I'm a disciple of Jesus Christ. I'm a visionary. I'm a co-creator with God. I'm also an Award-Winning Television Reporter. I'm Host and Executive Producer of my own show.

What is one thing no one really knows about you?
I was molested at age 6

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Take what you can take and discard the rest

What would you say to 16 year old you?
Stop trying to impress the wrong people.

What is your greatest fear?
Not fulfilling all God called me to  be

Have you ever had anyone doubt you? How did that make you feel?
YES! It motivated me. It made me feel like, I'll show you. With maturity that turned from proving someone wrong to just staying the course and in the end I did prove them wrong.

What message do you think every woman should hear?
You are enough!

What is your favorite thing about where you live?
The community. We have such wonderful neighbors. They really care about my family.

What do you love most about yourself?
My ability and openness to grow. I'm always willing to grow and evolve.

Do you remember a specific time you overcame adversity?
Yes. I was leaving a church that I thought I'd be a member at for much longer. When I told some of the community I was closest too, they chastised me, shunned me and told others to do the same. I was deeply broken for a long time. I did a lot of work to move past that hurt. I forgave and eventually replanted in a new church with people who have helped love me back to wholeness.

What is the biggest thing you’ve learned along the way?
Life is a marathon, not a sprint.

Why do you love to travel?
Travelling allows me to connect with humanity, cultures, textures, history, nature and God.

What motivates you most?
Getting better. Learning more. Small wins.

How do you manage your work-life balance?
A productivity coach! LOL I encourage everyone to get one. She helps me structure and prioritize my time.

What is your favorite meal?

What do you do on a daily basis to grow and move forward?
I do many things. I Pray to God. Thank Jesus. Spend time listening to the Holy Spirit. Worshiping in song and words of praise. Surrending all to God. Journaling my life and experiences. Listening to podcasts. Listening to church sermons. Sitting at the feet of wise people and listening. Self care

What is one thing people would be surprised to hear about you?
I do really good imitations.

If you weren’t doing the job you have now, what would you be doing?

What is something on your bucket list?
Traveling to Antarctica.

Have you ever had an extraordinary experience? Describe it!
Yes! Tour Nelson Mandela's home (now a historic museum) on Vilakazi St in Johannesburg. You felt the heart and soul that used to beat there. You saw the history. You felt his presence even though I never met him. Nelson Mandela is one of the greatest humans to ever live. To stand in his home where he once lived was humbling.

Where do you find inspiration?
My daughter Lily.

What are your biggest passions?
Encouraging people. Connecting humans with one another--through storytelling, love, in person, and Jesus.
