Introduce yourself! Who are you?
Britney Clark, a human being with gifts and talents endowed by the Creator.
What is one thing no one really knows about you?
I love country music!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Get a mentor and give them permission to lead your development and growth.
What would you say to 16-year-old you?
Relax. Everything is temporary. Appreciate every season in your life. Don’t take anything too personal. Love and trust God in all you do. He has an amazing plan for you.
What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear is to not use my time wisely.
Have you ever had anyone doubt you? How did that make you feel?
Yes. I was a cashier at a local grocery store in high school. One customer asked what my aspirations beyond the job were. When I told him, he said I never would attend college and get a business degree. It motivated me. I exceeded my goals and continue to use the doubt as motivation.
What message do you think every woman should hear?
You are enough. You are not defined by your job, your career, your finances, your family status. None of those things are the essence of who YOU are.
What is your favorite thing about where you live?
Quietness. There is abundant time to think, reflect and learn.
What do you love most about yourself?
My confidence. When you believe in yourself, anything is possible.

Do you remember a specific time you overcame adversity?
Yes, last year of college. I had a 2.5 GPA as I was working 2 part-time jobs. I needed one more accounting class to graduate. The class was only offered at a sister campus an hour and a half away. I drove to take the class every Thursday. It was a challenging course that demanded a lot of my time and focus. I overcome through faith, perseverance and belief in myself.
What is the biggest thing you’ve learned along the way?
Nothing is permanent. You can always adjust and reset.
Why do you love to travel?
It connects me to other cultures, expands my knowledge and ignites my creativity.
What motivates you most?
The desire to comfortably retire my parents.
How do you manage your work-life balance?
Priorities. I don’t think there’s a true balance. What needs my attention the most at a particular time gets it.
What do you do daily to grow and move forward?
My daily morning routine:
1. Wake up
4. Listen to ThinkUp affirmations
6. Review Goals for the Day
Where do you find inspiration?
Everyday life. A person, a place, a conversation. Inspiration is everywhere.
